Summary (7.0)

When Mansion Poker first opened its doors back in 2004, the software was originally developed solely by the Mansion team. Regardless of all the top notch promotions and alike, things have gone slower than expected and the player traffic never picked up a significant amount of players. In late 2007, the Mansion team decided to opt out of its own software to merge with the Ongame network. Player traffic issues are long gone and so are the previous low medium to high stake volumes. With the transition came more tournaments, including freerolls for $15,000, $300,000 guaranteed tournaments and plenty of other action. We strongly recommend previous Mansion Poker members to check out the new poker software, not to forget the excellent casino and sports book.
Software (8)

The software was originally developed at Mansion Poker, but very low traffic volumes forced Mansion to switch to a popular network. The choice was fairly easy as Mansion is focusing its resources on the European market. Players familiar with Ongame, its new software, will notice the resemblance which can be seen in rooms such as PokerRoom. In all fairness, the new software elevates Mansion Poker to a new position. The graphics are better-looking, the software is extremely stable and years and years of operation with hundreds of thousands of members is a clear indication of how well it works. As far as functionality goes, most of the thinkable features are there. Player notes, lobby filters and configurable tables help make the poker experience better.
Traffic (8)

Since the transition to the Ongame network, Mansion Poker is currently one of the largest networks in the world. Over 30,000 players are connected at peak hours. Roughly half of these players are competing in tournaments, with the other half residing at the cash game tables. You will find competition at almost any stake, including micro levels as well as juicy $50/$100 levels.
Tournaments (8)

Almost half of the player traffic is directed to the plethora of tournaments that exists at Mansion Poker. A variety of freerolls range up to $15,000 in value, but if you want a real bang for the buck, look for the scheduled $300,000 guaranteed tournament. Additionally, a $15,000 Royal Guaranteed tournament is added every month. Every day holds a large amount of tournaments, which is why we recommend Mansion Poker to any tournament enthusiast.
Game Variety (7)

Mansion Poker offers the standard layout of poker game types. Texas Hold'em is the regular No Limit, Limit and Fixed Limit. Omaha players can choose between regular Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo. 7 Card Stud players can choose between regular stud and 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo. Speed Poker is also available, which is just a fancy name for turbo poker.
Soft Competition (7)

You will find a lot of fish at Mansion Poker, mainly thanks to its aggressive ad campaigns that lure beginners to poker in. Additionally, casino and sports betting players may swing by occasionally to push their luck in a game of cards. Such players are obviously not fishes at all times, but the high percentage of viewed flops suggests that there is a lot of loose play.
